While 2012 certainly had quite a few ups and downs for my family, it was still a very happy year.
I’m grateful for my extremely patient husband who excels in cooking steak and salmon– and handling massive amounts of laundry.
I am blessed to have my 4 year old son whose curiosity about dinosaurs, death, heaven, the planets, and sharks has me constantly thinking (and searching for answers on wikipedia!).
And my 2 year old daughter’s perpetual smile and giggles allows me to just be in the moment. I adore her for that gift.
I’m thankful for all of my family, especially my mom who loves, cares and worries most about me every day.
I’m grateful for my best friends who let me vent off steam on random rants without judgement– and for all of our dance parties because we girls need to get extremely silly every now and then.
Thank you for those who love me. Unconditional love is so precious.
Transitioning to the burbs was (and is) a challenge I’m overcoming. I do consider it my journey and an adventure that I’m enjoying. I look forward to 2013, and our decisions that lie ahead.
I wanted to rejoice in some of my family’s happiest (and simple) moments in 2012. I went a little overboard on my first creation on instaframe. Hope you enjoy it!
PS-I would love to hear from my readers, friends and family on what you are most thankful for this year. Please comment!
